Grid-connected photovoltaic system with power smoothing

چکیده

Abstract This paper analyzes the power smoothing of grid-connected photovoltaic (PV) systems under fast irradiance changes. The analyzed converter is composed a triple active bridge series-resonant (TABSR) DC-DC cascaded with voltage source inverter (VSI). Two controlled variables are considered: battery current and PV voltage. TABSR modeled as sources for ports. ramp rate (RR) control algorithm used to smooth output profile enhancing delivered grid. Four rates (10%, 5%, 2% 1%) evaluate RR state charge (SOC) response. Therefore, can be sized appropriately. Real data temperature in an overcast day verify effectiveness proposed system.
